Many customers are not sure about the pressure valve, safety valve, pressure regulator, pressure relief valve when purchasing the product. The difference, we need to explain to them in detail about the difference between these types of valves. Because the different pressure valves are different in the working conditions, let's briefly say the difference between the pressure reducing valve, the safety valve, the pressure regulating valve and the pressure relief valve:
Reducing valve is a device that reduces the high pressure medium to a low pressure medium. The valve is characterized by constant changes in inlet pressure. Next, keep the outlet listening pressure and temperature values within a certain range.
Safety valves are used to prevent damage to boilers, pressure vessels and other equipment or pipes due to overpressure. When the pressure is slightly higher than the normal working pressure, the safety valve is automatically opened to lower the pressure. When the pressure is slightly lower than the normal working pressure, the safety valve automatically closes, stopping the discharge of fluid and keeping the seal.
Relief valve is mainly used in the case of excessive pressure. When the pressure is greater than the set value, the valve inner piece is opened and the pressure is released. After the reduction, the original position is restored, and the safety valve is not much different. The pressure relief valve refers to the liquid, and the safety valve refers to the gas and steam.
Regulators are devices that maintain a medium in a region within a certain pressure range. The difference between a pressure reducing valve and a pressure reducing valve:
Relief valve: Reduces the outlet pressure to the rated value regardless of the inlet pressure, and acts as a decompression.
Regulators: Maintain a constant upstream pressure regardless of downstream pressure and demand.
Safety valves and pressure reducing valves are two types of valves and are special valves. Among them, the safety valve is a safety venting device, which is a special valve, which only acts when the working pressure exceeds the allowable range, and protects the system. The pressure reducing valve belongs to the process valve, which can decompress the high pressure stream to meet the pressure requirements of the rear system, and the working process is continuous.
